An MRI showed that my mother has a herniated disk in his back. She went to work while the processing, but it seemed he did nothing. Sorry to say, but PT has given me very little. Of the three rounds of this, I found that one of the therapists taught me really what I use at home. I had two surgeries disc. I had a lumbar disc completely suspended for four months and the pain was almost suicidal at times (they thought I had bursitis in my hip, I am in his office once every two weeks) and then met up with a MRI. I was in surgery two days later. Four months is the time to heal after surgery, usually in the lower back. My healing time ever completed. Following the disc pressing on my sciatic nerve for so long, now I have chronic neuropathic pain, healing, and I 24/7/365.
Do not neglect exercise, you must continue to move down to the bone, even if hurt.I lost much weight, which makes a big difference. I wear a corset again most of the time, and even a stick in the vicinity. I also take pain killers and muscle three times a day to keep the pain at bay. The corset is something you should all the time, or at least not physical labor, such as theifting food, etc.. It's my best friend!

It may take several weeks to pain. From my experience, physical therapy recently, people end up with long-term herniation discectomies (where herniated disc removed and replaced by other artificial).
